What our customers say

  • Elizabeth N. (delivery to Los Angeles, CA)

    Birthday Present.

Bought a selection for my brother-in-law who is a dark chocolate lover. He was very enthusiastic!

  • Anthony H. (delivery to Potomac, MD, USA)

My “go to” for dinner with friends

Well done. This is what bean to bar is supposed to be! Beau Cacao’s three “single origin” bars have become my favorite way to introduce friends to high quality chocolate. They’re very similar in content (78%, Indonesian), but the slight geographical
differences create a remarkably difference in flavor profiles.

  • Ihor S. (delivery to Benahavis, Malaga, Spain)

Never tried craft chocolate before. Loved it.

I never understood the hype behind the craft chocolate. Now I do. I had to try it once to understand the difference and taste superiority compared to mainstream commercial chocolate. Hello Chocolate was very effective in solving a shipment issue so its customer service reinforces the quality of the product.

7 Fun Facts About California

California, the enchanting land of sun, surf, and star-studded sidewalks, is a state that captures the hearts and imaginations of millions. Beyond its famous beaches and Hollywood glamour, there's a treasure trove of fascinating facts that make California truly one of a kind. From natural wonders to quirky landmarks, let's embark on a journey to uncover some captivating fun facts about the Golden State.

  1. The Mighty Redwoods:
Standing tall as living sentinels of time, California is home to some of the oldest and tallest trees on Earth—the majestic coast redwoods. These ancient giants can reach staggering heights of over 300 feet and are known to have been alive for more than 2,000 years. Walking amongst these towering beauties in places like Muir Woods National Monument is a humbling experience that brings you closer to the Earth's natural history.
  2. The Legendary Gold Rush:
California's history was forever changed in 1848 when gold was discovered at Sutter's Mill. The ensuing Gold Rush brought a flood of prospectors from around the world, seeking their fortune in the untamed wilderness. This event not only shaped California's development but also left an indelible mark on American history and culture.
  3. Earthquake Country:
California is renowned for its seismic activity, owing to its location along the infamous San Andreas Fault. The state experiences thousands of earthquakes each year, though most are too minor to be felt. Nevertheless, Californians are prepared for the "big one," with stringent building codes and regular drills to ensure safety.
  4. The Iconic Hollywood Sign:
An internationally recognized symbol of the entertainment industry, the Hollywood Sign was originally constructed in 1923 as an advertisement for a real estate development. Perched on the hills of Los Angeles, this iconic landmark has undergone several transformations but remains a beacon of stardom and allure.
  5. World's Tallest Trees, Tallest Mountain:
California boasts an astonishing geographical contrast—the state is home to both the tallest trees and the tallest mountain in the contiguous United States. While the redwoods stand tall, Mount Whitney reaches a staggering elevation of 14,505 feet (4,421 meters) above sea level, offering breathtaking vistas for those who brave its challenging trails.
  6. A Thriving Tech Hub:
Silicon Valley, situated in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area, is synonymous with technological innovation. This epicenter of the tech industry has given birth to companies like Apple, Google, and Facebook, revolutionizing the way the world connects and communicates.
  7. Death Valley: Hottest and Lowest:
Famous for its extreme weather, Death Valley is the hottest, driest, and lowest national park in the United States. It holds the record for the highest air temperature ever recorded on Earth, reaching a scorching 134°F (56.7°C) in 1913.

California's allure extends far beyond its postcard-perfect beaches and glamorous Hollywood scene. From towering trees and towering mountains to technological breakthroughs and geological wonders, the Golden State is a true playground of diversity and natural beauty. Its rich history, innovative spirit, and breathtaking landscapes continue to captivate residents and visitors alike, making California a land of endless fascination.
