Goodnow Farms presses its own cocoa butter, a time-intensive process that allows the hot cocoa mix to be made from scratch in-house, delivering depth and clarity of flavor. The cocoa is not alkalized and contains no additives, preserving the natural character of the beans and their flavanols—even if it requires a bit more stirring.
