A creamy 51% dark milk brightened with lemongrass and shredded coconut. Tropical and citrus-lifted.

Above-the-fold callout
Milk chocolate for grown-up palates, with somewhere warm on its mind. BOHO starts with their organic 51% milk — a "dark milk" that carries real cocoa depth rather than just sweetness — then lifts it with the citrusy brightness of lemongrass and the chewy texture of shredded coconut. The result is rich and creamy but never cloying: tropical, aromatic, and a little unexpected. An easy, joyful bar from a maker better known for its serious single origins.

Origin & Craftsmanship
BOHO make everything from scratch in small batches, stone-grinding their milk base to a velvety, luxurious texture before the flavours go in. What sets this apart from a novelty bar is the quality of the additions: organic shredded coconut for body and a subtle sweetness, and real organic lemongrass and lemon oils rather than artificial flavouring, so the citrus reads as fresh and green instead of sharp. It sits on the same ethical foundation as the rest of BOHO's range — organic cacao bought directly from smallholder farms at well above the commodity price. Fun, but conscientiously made.

Flavor Profile
Creamy and indulgent first, as a good dark milk should be, then the lemongrass arrives with a bright, citrusy, almost floral lift that cuts the richness, and the coconut follows with its gentle chew and tropical sweetness. Sweet, citrus-fresh and coconut-warm all at once — a harmonious, memorable blend that tastes like a holiday and eats like a treat.

Recognition
Built on award-winning foundations: BOHO's 51% organic milk base is an International Chocolate Awards Gold winner, and the maker holds more than twenty-five international awards across its range — pedigree you can taste in the smoothness of the chocolate under the flavours.

Tasting & Pairing Guide
Let a square melt slowly so the creamy base blooms before the lemongrass and coconut come through. It's lovely alongside a flat white or a milky coffee, and it comes into its own with tropical fruit — mango, pineapple — or a cup of lemongrass or green tea that echoes the citrus. For something indulgent, pair it with a coconut-forward cocktail or a chilled dessert wine. A natural crowd-pleaser and a great gift for someone who thinks they've tasted every kind of milk chocolate.

Summary
The Milk with Coconut & Lemongrass 51% is BOHO at their most playful: a stone-ground organic dark milk lifted with real lemongrass and shredded coconut, creamy and tropical and made from scratch on genuinely ethical foundations. Bright, warm and moreish — the fun end of a serious maker's range, and a bar that wins over people who claim not to like milk chocolate.

    The Beginning...

The BOHO Chocolate journey commenced with founder Charles Burke, who began his chocolate venture by selling chocolates and confections from a small New England shop over twenty-five years ago. Driven by a deep desire to craft his own chocolate, Charles was captivated by the bean-to-bar manufacturing process. With no prior experience, he embarked on an adventure, booking a flight to South America with a friend. There, they joined forces with TAZA Chocolate and visited farmers, cooperatives, and local chocolate makers, leading to his love affair with chocolate making and the birth of BOHO Chocolate.

Keep in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and strong odors. Store at maximum
    18 ° C in its original packaging

Our chocolate makers proudly refrain from using any artificial stabilizers or preservatives in their products, making their creations more temperature-sensitive compared to other premium chocolates.

To ensure the optimal taste experience, it's advisable to store our chocolates in a cool, dry place where the temperature hovers between 16°C and 18°C. Please refrain from refrigerating our chocolates, as this may cause sugar crystallization due to increased humidity, altering their texture and flavor.

On the contrary, if stored in excessively high temperatures, cocoa butter may separate and form a white film on the chocolate's surface. This loss of cocoa butter can lead to the chocolate drying out and, consequently, a potential alteration in flavor. Your mindful storage practices will help preserve the integrity of our delectable chocolates.
